The QUAD and BRICS are two
international groupings India is a part of.
The Quadrilateral Security Dialogue (QUAD) which
comprises India, United States, Japan, and Australia,
aims to secure the Indo-Pacific region, focusing on
maritime security by counterbalancing China's
regional dominance.
On the other hand BRICS, comprising Brazil, Russia,
India, China, South Africa, and new entrants like
Saudi Arabia and the UAE, aims for economic
cooperation, financial independence from Western
institutions, leading to a multipolar world order.
